LA Companion Etiquette — Beverly Hills to Malibu
LA doesn’t work like Manhattan or Miami. There are no dense hotel lobbies where arrivals blend in — you’re either at a private residence with a driveway, a Beverly Hills five-star with a valet, or a Malibu house at the end of a private road. Etiquette shifts accordingly. Here’s what actually matters.
Private Residence Bookings
Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Holmby Hills, Hollywood Hills. Companions arrive via rideshare (never a taxi — Uber/Lyft is invisible; taxis draw attention). Gate code shared 30 minutes before arrival. Payment (cash preferred) handled at the door, before drinks.
Hotel Bookings
The Peninsula Beverly Hills, The Beverly Hills Hotel, The Beverly Wilshire, Sunset Tower, The Chateau Marmont — all handle discreet arrivals seamlessly. Give her the suite number in the WhatsApp thread; she handles the lobby herself. Valet is normal; she doesn’t need to be picked up.
Malibu Bookings
Longer notice required (1-2 hours for arrival given traffic on PCH). Longer bookings preferred (overnight or weekend format). Malibu doesn’t reward one-hour visits — the traffic alone makes it awkward.
Dinner Bookings
LA dinners run 8:30-11pm. Nobu Malibu, Craig’s, Providence, Republique. Companion arrives at your hotel or residence 7:30pm, cab to dinner. Return timing set at booking. Restaurant paid separately.
Weekend + Multi-Day
Our most-booked format in LA. Client covers hotel/residence, restaurants, activities; the rate covers her time. Advance notice preferred (3-5 days).
